Our Mission & Team

With decades in the automotive industry, we’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of people find the vehicles they want. We’ve seen the excitement that comes with a new purchase, and we truly believe buying a vehicle should be a positive experience, not a stressful or frustrating one.

Over the years, we’ve also heard many stories from customers about past experiences at other dealerships, times when they felt pressured, confused, or taken advantage of. Hearing those stories never sat right with us, and it’s one of the biggest reasons we decided to build something different.

While we can’t change every dealership in the world, we can ensure that the buyers we represent have the best possible experience. Whether that means finding a dealership that will genuinely take care of you, locating the right vehicle, negotiating the deal, or even having the vehicle delivered to you, our mission remains the same.

We are here to save you time, help you make a confident decision, and ensure the entire process is handled the right way. Buying a vehicle, new or a used one that's new to you, should be exciting , and we’re committed to helping make that happen.

JOHN HOWLAND - Co Founder and Managing Partner

Throughout my career in the automotive industry, I have focused on one guiding principle: putting the customer first through clarity, integrity, and informed decision making. 

I bring decades of experience from leadership roles across multiple brands within large dealership groups, where I served as a General Manager and General Sales Manager for Toyota, Chevrolet, Lexus, and Ford stores. In those roles, I was responsible not only for operational performance, but for ensuring customers clearly understood their transactions and felt confident in the decisions they were making.

I also spent several years in automotive banking with Ally, working directly with dealerships nationwide and training Finance Managers on deal structure, compliance, and best practices. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how automotive deals are built and approved behind the scenes, and insight most buyers never have access to.

Across every chapter of my career, my approach has remained the same. Transparency matters. Education empowers. The right deal is one the customer fully understands.

As Co Founder and Managing Partner of Driven Auto Solutions, it would be my privilege to help you level the playing field as you navigate the waters at dealerships. My goal is to provide clear guidance, professional negotiation support, and the confidence to make informed decisions before anything is signed.

I have spent my career in the automotive industry focused on one thing above all else: taking care of the customer and making sure every deal is handled the right way.

Over the past six years, I have worked in the finance office and consistently produced at a high level, earning the opportunity to be part of some of the strongest performing teams in the industry. I started my career in sales, and early on I learned that success comes from doing the right thing, working hard, and earning the customer’s trust. That mindset helped me become a top producing salesperson and later step into the finance office, where I continued to grow and lead from the front.

What I value the most is not just the results, but the way those results are achieved. I have always cared deeply about the customer experience, and I believe that when you truly put the customer first, everything else follows.

At Driven Auto Solutions, I bring that same level of execution, urgency, and attention to detail to every client we work with. My experience includes sourcing and locating vehicles, structuring deals from the front end, and helping customers understand the finance side of the transaction with clarity and confidence. Whether you need help finding the right vehicle, reviewing terms, or navigating financing concerns, my goal is to make the process smoother, simpler, and more transparent.
